It’s our job to ensure that each client is treated with the best care and service.

Inspiration is all around us. We just have to be open to it.

Our focus on community makes idGROUP unique.

ALISON ADGATE

ALLEN ESPIRITU

I love the outdoors. It’s a place where you can go and let your mind take a break.

What makes idGROUP great is the people. No matter who you talk to, everyone treats you with kindness.

ALLEN ESPIRITU

Amanda Elfervig

Design is an expression of who we are as individuals. There are pieces of us in each design we create.

If you do something you love that helps another person, you’re sharing a piece of your heart through service.

Inspiration can happen anywhere at any time. A sunset. A song. The way someone made you feel.

Amanda Elfervig

Amanda Elfervig

Amanda Irvin

I am on a never-ending search for the next thing I can make.

Community is key. idGROUP has built an environment where we definitely work hard, but we also have a lot of fun.

Amber Smoot

My favorite space is curled up in a window seat with a good book and a cup of tea. It doesn’t matter too much where it is, but the feeling of comfort, lighting and peace is a great feeling, no matter where you are.

I love working with the people here, having such an extensive network of people to call on to expand your own knowledge and to make the projects as great as they can be.

One of my favorite things is just going to the lake with friends. Simply floating in the water or reading by the lakeside is a perfect day.

My favorite place is at home with my husband and puppy! I also love the lake, Europe, and restaurant patios.

The people and the work environment make idGROUP unique. We’re casual, but we get things done.

Betsy Rodriguez

BRENDA THOMSON

I grew up next to the ocean. I feel most grounded and centered after spending any amount of time by a large body of water.

I love learning about the history of places and things and then creating something from it with a modern twist.

BRENDA THOMSON

Brian Wellmann

Lead with the heart and the rest will follow.

When I’m creating something, I’m placing a part of who and what I am into that design.

At idGROUP we care about each other, our clients, and our community.

Curiosity is the catalyst for inspiration. Paying attention to and being curious about how the natural world works is what has me the most inspired at the moment.

CARRY MCLAIN

Design starts as inspiration and vision with a resultant tangible reality. Making this vision a reality is my motivation.

Clear, concise, correct and complete.

Simplicity in vision and execution.

CARRY MCLAIN

Cindy Kearney

Communication is my mantra. Better communication promotes better understanding — which leads to a better product.

I love native and sustainable landscaping.

My favorite space: a shaded courtyard with plants, a cool breeze, a water feature, good friends, good music, and food and drink.

Cindy Kearney

COLLIN BIGGS

I’m inspired by crazy ideas, art, and people.

I love historic spaces with layers of history. They bring their own personality.

The most important thing to know about idGROUP is how invested we are in our people.

With a “Heart of Service” you don’t wait to be asked to do something, you anticipate it and act. An inherent desire to give and help. This mentality serves our clients as well as our community.

COLLIN BIGGS

Courtney Blackman

I do everything better when there’s music involved.

To find a quiet place where you can see the big sky usually means leaving the city. It’s those quiet places, surrounded by nature, that inspire me.

I never knew how sunny my days would be until my daughter came along. It’s amazing to see the world through her eyes.

Courtney Blackman

Courtney Blackman

DAVID DARR

I’m inspired by people who’ve been given little in life yet perform great and mighty works. The underdog inspires me.

I love the culture and my fellow employees at idGROUP. I enjoy the projects I am working on and the challenges they present.

DAVID DARR

Ellie Cullota

Whether I am relaxing on the beach or hiking in the mountains, the fresh air and beautiful views make me feel content and happy.

I could eat sour candy for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

A heart of service means giving back to the community and to others, to better yourself and those around you. Pay it forward.

Ellie Cullota

EMILY KILLORAN

If I weren’t an interior designer, I would be a photographer. Photos allow us to revisit moments in time.

People, nature, and culture each inspire me in their own way. I’m fascinated to learn how they work the way they do.

EMILY KILLORAN

Greg Holcomb

If we take care of people first, then everything else will fall in line.

I love to cook. It allows me to clear my head and then eat some yummy food afterwards.

My favorite place is the lake. It reminds me of relaxing summer days and family fun.

Watching how people interact with their environment inspires me. By observing others, designers can create spaces that are more functional, efficient, and comfortable for the users.

GRACE RICCOBENE

My favorite space is my living room. It brings people together, and we’ve had many fun times there. It has a lot of my quirky touches.

HEATHER RICHARDSON

HOLLY NICHOLS

I love sitting outside and hearing birds sing “good morning.”

My favorite place is beside a lake in Fall or Spring.

To create a truly successful design, we have to know the heart of our client’s company and how they function on a daily basis.

HOLLY NICHOLS

HOLLY WOODS

Our goal is to benefit the end user. To do that, we start from the inside. It’s the best way to remove barriers that limit creativity.

I enjoy any wide-open room filled with natural light that connects the inside with the outside.

I find painting therapeutic and rewarding at the same time.

HOLLY WOODS

JESSICA SAENZ

I love any space with a cool breeze, clear sky, and where I can hang out with my dog.

At idGROUP, we do much more than going to work and putting in another 8 hours. We care about our clients.

Drawing gives me the freedom to express anything and everything.

This is a company that genuinely cares about its employees. We accommodate each other’s needs.

KAELIN CHAMBERS

KATIE COLE

This is more than a place to work, idGROUP is a close knit community working together to provide the best service possible. It’s a home away from home.

Understanding the reasoning behind each choice in the design leads to a better end product for the client.

KATIE COLE

KATY SMITH

My favorite space is the next space I get to design.

We set out to understand each client’s vision and expectations for their project, and produce a design that maximizes functionality and aesthetics

KATY SMITH

KAYLA SIMS

In a residential space, my favorite room is the dining room. I love sharing good food and good conversation.

Having a true heart of service is a choice. It involves listening well, slowing down to offer help, and being fully present with others.

Other people inspire me. We each have such unique talents, characteristics, interests, stories, and experiences.

KAYLA SIMS

KIARA DAVIS

I love traveling! Whether a weekend road trip or a month-long adventure there is so much to see.

My favorite place is my hometown in Illinois. It’s a great community located outside Chicago with great food and people!

I’m inspired by places I visit and the people within those places. There is so much inspiration in every city I have been to.

KIARA DAVIS

Kim Cathey

Good design begins with the people who use a space, and with anticipating their needs and wants even when they can’t.

Service means going one step further to create the absolute best solution, and going the extra mile just to bring a smile to someone’s face.

Human experience lives at the heart of all design. Everything else flows from there.

Kim Cathey

Kim Cathey

KIM CUMMINGS

My favorite space is a tree house. It’s the perfect combination of an architectural space and nature’s perfection.

Having a heart of service means that your heart is full of compassion for others and you look for ways to serve others, in big or small ways.

Everyone at the idGROUP is so welcoming and passionate about their jobs.

My hard-working and creative co-workers inspire me to be the best version of myself.

Kim Ruhnke

Kim Ruhnke

KIRSTEN DOUGLASS

Sit me on a porch with a breeze, or in a kitchen with wide, open views, and I will forever be happy.

My creativity is fueled by the motions, colors, sounds, and comfort of nature.

It is a designer’s job to ensure that the client receives the very best care and attention. I take what I do to heart, and I care about who I am working with.

KIRSTEN DOUGLASS

KRISTIN KOLOWICH

There’s a symbiotic relationship between the client and the designer—idGROUP perfects that balance.

One of my favorite places is the Kimbell Art Museum and it’s just down my street!

I’m currently inspired by the idea of architectural branding. I like to find ways to make a space “feel” like a client’s brand rather just relying on aesthetics.

KRISTIN KOLOWICH

Kylee Jones

I’m passionate about helping people, anything chocolate, and respecting mother earth.

My dream is to create a world where nature and the built environment are seamlessly intertwined.

Even a little spark of kindness can put a burst of sunshine into someone’s day.

Kylee Jones

Kylee Jones

KYLIE KULWICKI

I think we have to look at the functionality of a space first and foremost.

I can watch Bing Crosby’s movie, “White Christmas,” any time of year. [*husband rolls eyes*]

A lot of things inspire me. The wonder of a child, a vacation to recharge, a cool breeze, and sometimes a chilled glass of champagne!

KYLIE KULWICKI

Laila Ahaddad

Laila Ahaddad

Laila Ahaddad

LAUREN KWAN

I’m inspired by good music, good art and TRAVEL!

I love being anywhere in London. I love the fact that within that one city, you can go from quaint to ultra-metropolitan — all surrounded by a wealth of culture and history.

LAUREN KWAN

LEE ANNA CALHOUN

Positive, creative, and hard-working people inspire me.

Life gets crazy with family and work. I run to put the crazy in perspective.

A Heart of Service is the desire to do a little extra.

LEE ANNA CALHOUN

LESLIE HUNTER

idGROUP is like working with a family of 80+ people.

I like most any space as long as there are huge windows. Let in that natural light!

I love to sketch. Some of my favorite subjects are buildings and people.

LESLIE HUNTER

LISA LOWRIE

Day trips, road trips, long-haul trips… I love them all!

I’m inspired by our young designers’ eagerness to learn, the challenges of each new project, and by opportunities to give back.

LISA LOWRIE

LYNETTE CROWE

Good design makes people happy. And good designers care about making people happy.

Service isn’t about doing something simply for the reward — although the reward is exactly what happens every time.

From baby showers to friendly competitions to joining together to fight breast cancer, idGROUP is in it together.

LYNETTE CROWE

MACKENZIE RATTAN

My favorite thing is spending time with my family, friends, and my dog.

My favorite place is New Orleans. The people are friendly, the food is good, and the music is never ending.

People who are positive and passionate inspire me.

MACKENZIE RATTAN

MAGARA SEILER

We never design for the sake of design. We thoughtfully plan and analyze in order to make the practical beautiful.

I keep trying to tell my husband that I don’t love purses, but purses love me.

I could never pick a favorite space. Each project I work on is unique and equally important.

MAGARA SEILER

MARYANNE PRATT

My favorite space is the Hall of State at Fair Park. It belongs to everyone, but it feels like it belongs to me. It’s grand, but comfortable. It was built in the past, but it looks to the future.

Inspiration: loved ones, animals, flowers, sunsets…

MARYANNE PRATT

Megan Ward

I love to swim. The water calms me. It’s my go-to de-stresser.

So many things inspire me. Nature. People who are more talented than I am. Laughter. Challenges. My family.

Megan Ward

Megan Ward

MEGHAN PARMER

I love a challenge. Any challenge. Something that pushes me to be courageous.

I like any space that begins with a clear thought and evokes a strong feeling.

MEGHAN PARMER

Melanie Martinez

Design from the inside out requires constant growth, humility, and evaluation.

At our core, we were designed to be of service to others.

There is power in the word “group.”

Melanie Martinez

Melanie Martinez

MELODY POKLADNIK

Once you know how to look, inspiration is everywhere. I once designed a pattern after seeing snow melting on the hood of my car.

There is no space that isn’t made better with a few books. Whenever I move, I unpack my books first.

MELODY POKLADNIK

MIA KIM

New environments and cities always inspire me.

Having a heart of service means one has an opportunity to change someone’s life for the better.

MIA KIM

NEYSHA RIOS CRUZ

I love traveling. Experiencing a new culture, tasting their food and just getting lost in the streets of a new city… There’s no better way to discover this beautiful world we live in.

My favorite place is anywhere I can be surrounded by my family and friends.

NEYSHA RIOS CRUZ

Pam McKerrow

Design is all inclusive. “Design from the Inside Out” sends that message. We do it all!

If you have it in your heart to serve others, it means more because you don’t expect something in return.

Pam McKerrow

Pam McKerrow

PAM WALLACE

Everyone deserves a “happy place”…

My favorite space is an empty room. It’s a story waiting to happen, and I get to be the author.

PAM WALLACE

Rachel Hansen

Having a heart of service means genuinely caring for others without expecting something in return.

My favorite space is an open room with tall windows flooding with natural light.

I like the strong team environment at the idGROUP and the constant support they provide to excel in work and life experiences.

One of my favorite things is food! I would love to travel and try new foods from different cultures.

Rachel Hansen

Rachel Hansen

RASHEL FRISBY

It may seem contradictory, but I’m inspired by the parameters of a project. “Free reign” leads to idea overload, but guidelines lead me to unique solutions.

There’s not much better than finding a book that pulls you in from the start and won’t let you go.

RASHEL FRISBY

REENA SCOTT

We make sure our designs work and also look great.

Different individuals make us different as a group.

Scripture, nature and art are my inspiration.

REENA SCOTT

RENE ORTEGA

My stress release comes in the form of Coke and chocolate. And if the chocolate is from Hawaii, that’s even better.

I enjoy spaces where light and shadow move — be it a cathedral, a museum, an office building lobby, a high ceiling in a residence, or even a tree next to a wall.

RENE ORTEGA

RENEE CHAPPELL

When we consider any design challenge, we look at the core and work our way out.

There’s something about escaping for a moment into a wonderfully built story. It’s incredible!

At idGroup our combined expertise goes well beyond our individual job descriptions or titles.

RENEE CHAPPELL

RENEE SPRUNGER

The idGROUP is a little community that works together, has a great time together, and gives each project 110%.

I love problem solving. My solutions usually come from past experiences and a passion for design.

Who doesn’t love a great space that was meant just for them?

RENEE SPRUNGER

Robert Ketner

My favorite place is Hughlett Point, a small wildlife preserve  on the Chesapeake Bay. It’s raw and unspoiled, with white sand beaches and marsh grass as far as the eye can see.

What I like about working at idGROUP is the smiles, everyone here is always smiling.

Top of my favorite things list? Kickin’ it with my family and friends.

Robert Ketner

Robert Ketner

SARAH CHUA

Thanksgiving is the most ingenious holiday ever. I was born on Thanksgiving, so I might be just a little biased. Especially when there’s birthday pie involved.

I love Fall. It draws me out of my air-conditioned bubble to enjoy camping and backpacking.

A Heart of Service anticipates another person’s needs without prompting. It’s a heartfelt gesture.

SARAH CHUA

Sarah Odom

Someone should write a book on our corporate culture. There are no over-done team-building sessions and no corporate slogans. It just works, because we all really want to be here.

A Heart of Service is truly wanting others to succeed. We stay late if it means our clients will look good in front of their teams the next day.

Never judge a book by its cover, and never judge a building by its exterior. Don’t get me wrong — we love sparkly new buildings! But we also excel at giving older buildings new life for tenants.

Sarah Odom

Sarah Odom

STEPHANIE RYAN

My favorite thing is shoes!

I love my parents’ back porch. They live away from the city, where you can actually see the stars at night!

I’m inspired by my surroundings, friends, family, traveling and incredible design.

STEPHANIE RYAN

STEVEN SAENZ

I’m inspired when I can find someone’s strengths and encourage their growth.

Rather than attempt to design the perfect solution, design different approaches to the problem.

The TU Delft Library is a space that is just as fun to occupy as it is to look at.

STEVEN SAENZ

TAHNEE PRIEM

My favorite space is anywhere with fresh air.

Design from the Inside Out means having a craving to do something great with what you’ve learned.

TAHNEE PRIEM

TERI SCHIEFER

My favorite space is the beach. I love the smell of the air, the sound of ocean waves, the feel of the sand, and the timeless quality of it all.

TERI SCHIEFER

Tom Rud

To me, service means reaching out and helping someone, even before they ask.

The talent at idGROUP inspires me. When you’re surrounded by so many talented people, it pushes you to test your limits.

Whenever I visit an old stadium, there are always good stories about the past, and I end up with a great story to tell others.

Tom Rud

Tom Rud

TRACI BAAR

idGROUP is a family. I’m surrounded by people I get to call co-workers and friends.

My favorite space is any one that has a cool ceiling. It’s the first thing I look at.

“A Heart of Service” describes a burning desire to help others. I’ve had the privilege of helping to build homes for families in Guatemala. Mission trips help satisfy my desire to serve those less fortunate.
